Fee figures taken from each exchange's published schedule 8 September 2026

PromptPay moves baht. It does not buy USDT by itself. The exchange link on this page is Bybit. The fee and the minimum are on the Bybit screen you open. This page does not copy another exchange's 0.25 percent schedule or a 20 baht withdrawal line onto Bybit, and it does not say Bybit holds a Thai SEC licence.

Buy USDT with baht

PromptPay does not buy USDT. It moves baht into an exchange, and you buy USDT there. The exchange link on this page is Bybit. Open that screen for the fee. This page does not say Bybit holds a Thai SEC licence.

Avoid roughly 23:30 to 02:00 Thai time. Bank rails have a maintenance window then and baht deposits or withdrawals can hang. That is not the exchange failing.
First run takes thirty minutes to a day depending on the verification queue
  1. Open the Bybit link on this page, or a Thai-licensed exchange such as Bitkub, with an email and phone number you actually use
  2. Complete identity verification with a Thai ID card and a face scan. This is required by law and cannot be skipped
  3. Link a bank account in your own name. Third-party accounts are rejected
  4. Send baht via PromptPay above each platform's minimum
  5. On the trading screen, pick the USDT and baht pair and buy. A limit order beats a market order slightly if you are not in a hurry
  6. Only then open the casino cashier and read which network it wants before sending anything

Round-trip cost

People count one leg. You pay the trading fee twice, once buying USDT and once selling it back to baht, so around half a percent total, plus spread, plus a network fee that is trivial on Tron, plus whatever baht withdrawal fee the screen shows. This page does not print a 20 baht Bybit fee. Not large, but better known in advance.

On tax, kept separate

Ministerial Regulation No. 399 (B.E. 2568), published in the Royal Gazette on 5 September 2025, exempts personal income tax on gains from selling crypto through operators licensed by the Thai SEC, for income arising between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2029.

Do not join those two thoughts. That exemption concerns disposal of digital assets through licensed operators. It says nothing about gambling income. I am not a tax adviser. If your amounts are meaningful, get professional advice.
Can I skip identity verification

Not legally. Licensed Thai operators must run KYC. Anyone offering a shortcut is offering you a problem.

Can I use an e-wallet instead of a bank

Deposit channels differ by platform and change often. Check the funding page of the exchange on the day you plan to do it.
