USDT exists on several networks and each has its own address format. TRC20 runs on Tron and costs the least. ERC20 runs on Ethereum and costs far more. Whale.io does not publish a supported-network list on any public page, so the network must be read from the deposit screen inside your account.

Deposit USDT on the right network

USDT is not one token on one rail. It is issued across several networks at once. USDT on Tron, called TRC20, and USDT on Ethereum, called ERC20, are worth the same and travel on different tracks. Send one to an address expecting the other and the funds land where nobody can reach them.

Important limitation: Whale.io does not publish which networks it supports anywhere public. The FAQ lists coins, not rails. So do not trust any affiliate site that names a network on the operator's behalf, including this one. Open your own deposit page and read it there.

Six steps. The fifth is the one people skip and regret
  1. Log in, open the deposit page, select USDT
  2. Read which network that page names. If there is a menu, pick the one your exchange also supports
  3. Copy the address with the copy button. Never type it, never read it off a screenshot
  4. At your exchange, withdraw USDT, paste the address, select the matching network
  5. Send a test amount first, 5 to 10 USD, and wait for it to credit before sending the real amount
  6. Keep the transaction hash. If funds go missing, that hash is the only thing support can act on

Those 11 come from the operator's FAQ. If you have seen a site listing GRAM or USD1, that is wrong. Gram appears in the terms' definitions section as a leftover from the Telegram-native era, not as a coin the cashier currently accepts. TON is on the list and is often the one omitted.

Do I need TRX for gas

Not when withdrawing from an exchange, which covers the fee. Yes when sending from a self-custody wallet, where a small TRX balance is required or the transaction fails.

My deposit has not credited, what now

Check the hash on a block explorer first. Confirmed on-chain but not credited is a support issue. Unconfirmed is a network issue, not a casino issue.
